How do I know if I am eligible for the Government discount?
All Active Duty, Retired, and Veterans of the United States Government qualify for our Government pricing program. This includes but is not limited to the following areas:Dept. of Defense
Bureau of Prisons
Dept. of Justice
Dept. of Homeland Security
Dept. of State
Dept. of Treasury
Dept. of Interior
Dept. of Fish & Game

What ID or credentials are sufficient to provide as proof?
In most cases, if you have a valid government issued email address, you will automatically be approved by our verification system.
If you are unable to access your Government email address, do not have a Government email address or your Government email address was not recognized by our verification system, you will have the opportunity to provide proof of association. Upon completion of your registration you will be prompted to upload credentials or you can email email@example.com a photo copy of your Government ID credentials.
Approved Government credentials include but not limited to: Agency/Association Photo ID Card, Veterans/Veterans of Foreign Wars ID Card, DD214 or DD2765.
I used my Government email address why wasn’t I automatically approved?
Our verification system is a database of approved email domains. If you weren’t automatically approved, that doesn’t mean you don’t qualify. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will approve your account and add your email domain to our verification system.
Do you offer price adjustments?
We do not apply price adjustments during promotional periods on orders that were placed prior to the promotion.
Are the prices reflective of the discount or do I use a special discount code?
The prices on our site are reflective of the Government discount only if a user is logged into a verified Government account. Users that are not signed into their government account will see the MSRP pricing only unless items are in our Closeout section.
Why am I unable to change the email address on my account?
For security reasons, we do not allow users to change their own email address on their account. If you need to update your email address, please contact email@example.com and we will gladly make the update on your behalf.
Can I place an order over the phone?
Unfortunately we do not accept orders over the phone. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Can I split the purchase between two cards?
Our system does not allow an order to be split between two forms of payment.
Can I send my Costa’s back to your facility for repairs or purchase replacement lenses through you?
Costa Del Mar Sunglasses are backed for life, and if you have a manufacturing defect, the folks in their repair shop will fix them for a warranty processing fee of $11.95 to get you back on the water as soon as possible. Costa will repair or replace, at their option, any product determined by Costa to be a manufacturer's defect. Since eventual wear and tear can be expected, reasonable repair charges will be levied if repairs are necessary as a result of normal wear, scratched lenses, broken hinges, accidental damage, misuse or any other problems determined not to be defects. A small processing fee with be charged for each warranty claim processed. All Costa repairs and replacement parts must be processed through Costa Del Mar directly.
